AMNESTY BINS

The organisations amnesty bins were placed in Chelmsford City in 2021, as part of the Knife Angel Chelmsford visit, in partnership with Chelmsford City Council and funded by PFCC.

AMNESTY BIN LOCATION INTERACTIVE MAP

As part of the organisations research into youth provision in Essex, whilst updating the website in 2020, following an enquiry to Essex Police a representative confirmed relating there was no provision of online listings for young people to locate bins and the organisation created the first list, including an interactive map, for young people to discreetly access the locations

AWARDS

The Keep It 100 Youth Awards were launched as part of the Knife Angel Chelmsford legacy in 2021, the inaguaral event was hosted on October 21st 2021, in partnership with Hotbox Live and Chelmsford Community Radio.

CREATIVE CAREER PATHWAY SUPPORT

The organisation pioneered creative career pathway support and provision of oppourtunity as part of it's founding constitution in 2020, young musicians. actors photographers, DJ's and songwriters have so far benefitted from support with industry related skills to business management skills as well as opportunity for paid and work experience.

DIRECTORY AND INTERACTIVE MAP OF SUPPORT SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The initiative developed from time consulting with young people in 2019, whereby there was a lack of online provision for informed choices relating to adverse experiences affecting young people. Many were too scared to ask for help from adults but shared a feeling of confidence about reaching out for help if a discreet form of sign posting were viable

DIRECTORY AND MAP OF ACTIVITIES AND CLUBS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The services directory for support was originally collated in November 2019 as a pilot website, prior to the organisation becoming constituted.. The interactive youth map was organically developed as part of this service.

' I AM LOVE ' YOUTH VIOLENCE EDUCATION SCULPTURE CHELMSFORD

Standing at 15ft in height the anatomical heart sculpture contains amnesty weapons donated by Essex Police and deposits into Keep It 100 Youth CIC amnesty bins. It is understood to be the UK's first place of education on all forms of youth violence.

KNIFE ANGEL CHELMSFORD

The organisation worked with Alfie Bradley the Knife Angel Artist, and The British Ironworks Centre, to secure an in-principle visit of the sculpture to Essex. Upon securing this, Chelmsford City Council were approached to provide a site for the visit.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Central to the organisation’s ethos, is provision of opportunity to authentically empower young people. Events connected to the projects we undertake are fundamentally designed to empower young people.
